A holland Within Temptation negyedik sorlemeze "The Heart Of Everything" címmel, 2007 máciusában került boltokba. Az akkor még a gótikus-szimfonikus vonalon mozgó csapat igen szép sikereket könyvelhetett el a koronggal, több országban ért el előkelő helyezéseket.
Az egyik videoklipes szerzemény az All I Need volt, amely 2007. november 12-én jelent meg. A szám nemrégiben elérte a 20 milliós megtekintést, ezzel Sharon den Adelék egyik legsikeresebb kisfilmjévé nőtte ki magát, noha az albumról kétségtelenül a Frozen az eddigi legtöbb megtekintést elért videója, a maga 27 milliós nézettségével.
A zenekar e hónapban újra kiadta az albumot,ám nemcsak az eredeti tracklist, hanem demo-és koncertfelvételek és jó pár dal instrumentális verziója is felkerült a kiadványra.
2007. március 12-ével került üzletekbe a holland metálzenekar negyedik albuma, a "The Heart Of Everything." Ez volt a csapat utolsó, igazán szimfonikus-gótikus alapokra épülő kiadványa, hiszen a 2010-es "The Unforgiven" már magán viselte a modern hangzás jellegzetességeit. Ezt követte a már teljes egészében modern elemekre épülő "Hydra" (2014) és a szintén ezen vonalon mozgó "Resist" (2019).
A The Heart Of Everything szép sikerekkel gazdagította a Sharon den Adel vezette bandát, kislemezként pedig megjelent a What Have You Done, a The Howling, az All I Need és a Forgiven.
Az album 15. születésnapja alkalmából az együttes ismét kiadta a dalcsokrot, a nem kevesebb, mint 4 CD-ből álló gyűjtemény pedig nemcsak az eredeti tracklistet, hanem demofelvételeket, koncertfelvételeket és instrumentális dalokat is magában foglal.
